MURAT DEMIR
2009 EUROPEAN CLASSIC BODYBUIDING
OVERALL CHAMPION
Murat moved to the IFBB in 2007, won the German Championships (classic
bodybuilding open class) and has begun his impressive international
career by wining the bronze medal at the 2008 World Classic
Bodybuilding Championships. In spring 2009 he came to the European
Championships, won his class (up to 180 cm) and then took the
overall title, what is not an easy task in Europe, where the classic
bodybuilding is very popular. 2009 World championships brought to
him the next bronze medal, behind the 2008 overall champion
Alexander Denisenko and the 2009 overall winner Mohsen Gorannevis.
Murat lives in Bremen, Germany where he runs his own body shop. He
is a member of the Olympic Gym in Hamburg. His trainer: Klaus
Maibaum. His contest bodyweight is 85 kg at 180 cm.
